從學習者觀點探討「室內設計」 課程的學習趨向與重要性認知 —以中原大學為例

Exploring the Learning Trends and Perceived Importance of "Interior Design" Courses from Learners' Perspectives: A Case Study of Chung Yuan Christian University

摘要


隨著市場需求的變化和技術的迅速發展,室內設計教育在現代教育體系中變得越來越重要。臺灣的設計教育在過去十多年來取得了顯著進步,設計學科已經成為一個具有實際需求、研究價值和發展潛力的新興領域。 本研究旨在探討室內設計課程學習趨向與重要性認知,並以學習者的觀點為基礎進行分析。研究將學習者需具備的設計能力分為「訓練構面」、「學習構面」與「教學構面」等三大構面。研究對象為中原大學室內設計學系的三年級學生,他們已經經歷過「室內設計課程(一、二、三、四)」的全面訓練。研究方法包括問卷調查與深入訪談,共取得141件有效案例,以深入理解學習者對課程訓練內容的重要性趨向、學習成效的感知性評估,以及對課程教學人員的專業性認知。 結果顯示,學習者最重視的能力指標為口語呈現、設計溝通、空間模擬和圖學表達。訪談中,學習者普遍認為口語呈現有助於清晰傳達設計理念,獲得教師與評審的認同。設計溝通、空間模擬和圖學表達也被認為是設計過程中的關鍵能力。模型製作的選擇為最低。訪談結果顯示,學習者認為模型製作耗時耗力,且在實際職場中使用較少,因此不願在這方面花費過多時間和精力。學習者更傾向於將時間投入到對整體設計效果影響更大的訓練面向上。 在課程學習成效方面,敘事表達和空間組織也是學習者最重視的能力。學習者認為敘事表達有助於清晰闡述設計概念,而空間組織是設計的基礎能力。觀察記錄的選擇比例雖最低,但仍達到70%,但學習者認為每項能力都有其存在的必要性。 在課程教學能力方面,語言傳遞和教學態度的選擇比例最高,顯示出學習者對這兩項能力的高度重視。學習者期望教學者具備良好的教學態度,能進行正向溝通。 根據研究結果,提出以下改進建議:在課程設計中適當減少手作模型的比重,增加實務訓練和實習機會,加強教學者的培訓和反饋機制,並調整評估標準以更好地反映學習者的綜合能力。 關鍵詞:室內設計、課程訓練、學習者、教學者、認知趨向

With the changing market demands and rapid technological advancements, interior design education has become increasingly important in the modern educational system. Over the past decade, Taiwan's design education has made significant progress, with the design discipline emerging as a field with practical demand, research value, and development potential. This study aims to explore the learning trends and importance perceptions of interior design courses, based on the perspectives of learners. The research categorizes the necessary design skills into three major dimensions: "Training Aspect," "Learning Aspect," and "Teaching Aspect." The study subjects are third-year students from the Department of Interior Design at Chung Yuan Christian University, who have undergone comprehensive training in "Interior Design Courses (I, II, III, IV)." The research methods include surveys and in-depth interviews, yielding 141 valid cases to deeply understand learners' importance perceptions of course training content, their evaluation of learning effectiveness, and their perceptions of the professionalism of course instructors. The results show that learners value oral presentation, design communication, space simulation, and graphic representation the most. Interviews reveal that learners believe oral presentation helps clearly convey design concepts and gain approval from teachers and reviewers. Design communication, space simulation, and graphic representation are also considered crucial skills in the design process. Model making was rated the lowest. Interview results indicate that learners find model making time-consuming and labor-intensive, and it is rarely used in the actual workplace, leading them to prefer investing their time in training aspects that have a greater impact on the overall design outcome. In terms of course learning effectiveness, narrative expression and spatial organization are also highly valued by learners. They believe narrative expression aids in clearly articulating design concepts, while spatial organization is fundamental to design. Although observation recording had the lowest selection rate, at 70%, learners still recognize the necessity of each skill. Regarding course teaching ability, language transmission and teaching attitude had the highest selection rates, reflecting learners' emphasis on these two abilities. Learners expect instructors to have a positive teaching attitude and to engage in constructive communication. Based on the research findings, the following recommendations are made: appropriately reduce the emphasis on hand-made models in the course design, increase practical training and internship opportunities, enhance teacher training and feedback mechanisms, and adjust evaluation standards to better reflect learners' comprehensive abilities.
