圖書館結合創意生活的體現-以桃園市立圖書館總館為例
Embodiment of Libraries Integrating Creative Living：A Case Study of Taoyuan City Main Library
摘要
圖書館的存在人類歷史中已經超過千年，肩負著保存人類文化與知識的重要任務，如今圖書館面臨三個重大社會轉變下的挑戰，迫使人們不得不重新思考其定位。一、隨著網路的發達，知識與資訊的獲得變得相當容易，圖書館喪失一部份重要的功能；二、進步的社會環境讓人們對於生活品質的追求變得更為講究；三、台灣之光之一的「誠品書店」橫空出世，提供免費且更有質感的閱讀環境，傳統圖書館難以符合現代人對於生活質感以及美學的基本追求。然而，圖書館仍是人們相當受歡迎的場所。近年來台灣五都的直轄市圖書館，均有先見之明，紛紛將圖書數位化、老舊建築改建、服務型態轉型，頗具成效，成為當地居民休閒的重要場所。因此，本研究將著重探討現代圖書館如何提升「空間美感」？如何滿足人們對於「生活品質」追求？ 本研究採取個案調查法，調查對象為台灣2022年新開幕的直轄市圖書館「桃園市立公共圖書館總館」，從「創意生活美學」的角度出發，研究這座台灣最新的直轄市公共圖圖書館，在其策略與經營上與以往的圖書館有何不一樣，以作為日後其他縣市新建圖書館之參考與建議。

Libraries have existed for more than a thousand years in human history and are responsible for the important task of preserving human culture and knowledge. However, libraries today face three significant challenges due to societal shifts, compelling them to reconsider their role. Firstly, with the advancement of the internet, obtaining knowledge and information has become remarkably easy, causing libraries to lose a portion of their essential functions. Secondly, improved social conditions have heightened people's pursuit of a higher quality of life. Thirdly, the emergence of the renowned 'Eslite Bookstore' in Taiwan, providing free and aesthetically pleasing reading environments, poses a challenge to traditional libraries in meeting the modern individual's pursuit of lifestyle quality and aesthetics. Nevertheless, libraries remain popular places among students. In recent years, municipal libraries in Taiwan's five major cities have shown foresight, digitizing books, renovating old structures, and transforming service models effectively, becoming important leisure spaces for local residents. Therefore, this study will focus on exploring how modern libraries enhance 'aesthetic appeal' and satisfy people's pursuit of 'quality of life.' These are the two main emphases. This study adopts a case study approach, with the newly opened 'Taoyuan City Public Library Main Branch' in Taiwan in 2022 as the subject. From the perspective of 'creative lifestyle aesthetics,' the research examines the strategies and management differences between this latest municipal library and its predecessors, serving as a reference and recommendation for future library constructions in other counties and cities.
