The study aims to explore stressors that female soldiers face in military, and how female soldiers react to and deal with stress. Semi-structured interviews are adopted to collect data, and conducted “the spiral of analysis” method (Boejie, 2013) to analyze data. By applying purposive sampling, 6 female soldiers who were each interviewed once or twice by researhcer. The main findings of this study were as follows: (a) the stress of female soldiers face mainly originates from paternalism and authoritarianism in the military. (b) Female soldiers mostly suffer immune disorders and felt hopeless under the stress conditions of military. (c) Female soldiers usually adapt to stress through the process of self-regulation. According to the results, further discussion and recommendations were provided.
