後現代主義對基督教婚姻觀的衝擊與影響

本研究主要探討基督徒在後現代主義的衝擊下所面對的影響及其所產生的矛盾，並在這種矛盾下基督徒所作出選擇及其背後的考量。研究者從新加坡教會及輔導機構内選取五位已婚基督徒，進行半結構式的深入訪談，之後對所得資料進行分析，主要研究結果發現如下：一、基督徒所持守的婚姻觀是源自《聖經》的教導，包括婚姻是神所設立的，並且是神聖而聖潔的；作爲基督徒應當遵循一生一世、一夫一妻、一男一女的觀念。這些婚姻價值觀深深影響著他們對婚姻的看法，所以在他們的思想觀念中，基督教的婚姻觀促使他們對婚姻保持謹慎的態度。二、後現代主義對基督徒所産生的衝擊促使他們面臨婚姻觀的衝擊，其中包括婚姻關係、自我價值觀、婚姻責任、肉體和情欲的衝擊。在這些的衝擊底下，基督徒在經營婚姻生活上就産生極大的矛盾。三、基督徒在面對挑戰與矛盾時，他們選擇跟隨信仰的教導，因爲他們相信感覺是短暫的，然而基督教的信仰卻能夠提供他們正確指引的方向。他們所作選擇的考量是要忠于自己的信仰，並以此成爲孩子的榜樣，使他們學習到有關基督教婚姻觀的正確教導。再者，他們也相信人的智慧和力量是有限的，信仰能夠提供他們足夠的智慧和力量，去面對婚姻生活上的種種困難與危機。研究者根據上述研究結果加以討論，並依據此結果提供若干建議以作爲已婚基督徒、教會、專業助人者以及未來研究者的參考依據。

This research mainly discusses the impact and influences of Post Modernism on Christian marriage, and to understand how Christians find their ways to face the contradictions and their considerations. The researcher had chosen five married Christians from Yio Chu Kang Gospel Hall and a counseling center in Singapore. Semi- structural interview techniques and data analysis were adopted. The major findings are summarized as follows: 1. The marital values and customs that Christians adhere to are based on the teachings from the Holy Bible. They believe Christian marriage is sacred and holy and is instituted and ordained by God between one man and one woman. These values influence how Christians view their marriages and to be more prudent towards marriages. 2. The impact and influences of Post Modernism on Christians challenge their views on marital values, which include marital relationship, values on self, marital responsibilities and the impact of sexual enticement. Under these impacts and influences, Christians experienced great contradictions in their marriage life. 3. Christians have chosen to follow the teachings from the Holy Bible while they faced challenges and contradictions from Post Modernism. This is because they believe that sensual perception is volatile and Christian faiths are able to provide the right direction to them. The reasons that caused them to make the choices are to practice loyalty to their religion and to become a role model to their children. Moreover, they also believe on the limitations of human beings and the wisdom and strength of God in dealing with the difficulties and the crisis of marriages. The findings of this research were further discussed. Suggestions also provided to married Christians, churches, helping professionals, and future research.
