The reasons and motivations for EMBA students to participate in slow-pitch softball are diverse. These motivations include interest in sports, physical and mental well-being, building interpersonal relationships, stress relief, and pursuing comprehensive development. The slow-pitch softball club provides them with regular team practice sessions and clear competitive goals, which hold significant meaning and value for the team members. However, it is observed that not every EMBA student, alumni, or current student are involved in the softball club, and some are not even aware of how the club operates or the charm of slow-pitch softball. As a result, the number of alumni willing to participate in the club is limited. Therefore, the club's current leadership sees it as their mission to strengthen the club, promote its positive image, and make more people aware of the club's competitiveness, fun, and joy. Their goal is to elevate the softball club to a higher level of development. This research aims to interview previous and current leaders of EMBA softball clubs in different central Taiwan schools to explore strategies for strengthening their respective clubs, enabling the current leaders to leverage their strengths and enhance the team's competitiveness in various softball competitions. The results show that the motivations for club membership differ among schools, leading to variations in human resources within each club. As a result, each school's softball club needs to customize the key success factors suitable for its specific situation. This thesis contributes to club management, knowledge expansion in club operations, EMBA learning and practice, and enhancing club participation and influence. By understanding the key success factors, the thesis will delve into the operational models, strategies, and practical approaches of Central Taiwan EMBA slow-pitch softball clubs. Through case analysis and qualitative research methods, practical advice and guidance can be offered to club managers to enhance teamwork and sporting achievements. The study can help clubs attract more members and provide attractive activities, enrich knowledge in club management, and assist EMBA students in applying ethical knowledge from their coursework to actual club operations, thereby improving their management and leadership capabilities. Additionally, this research may inspire other sports clubs or organizations in terms of management practices and academic research.
