「多人線上遊戲」已融入我們的日常生活,並有著不可忽視的份量,所以也應該正面看待它對我們的影響,以期能運用它來提升自我。本研究欲了解現今玩家遊玩多人線上遊戲的「深度」,對玩家社交技巧、團隊合作、公民參與的影響。筆者於各大遊戲論壇蒐集了339份有效問卷。研究結果顯示玩家在多人線上遊戲的參與深度,分別與其社交技巧、團隊合作、公民參與相關;玩家在多人線上遊戲中展現的社交技巧愈高,其展現的團隊合作愈高;玩家在多人線上遊戲中展現的團隊合作愈高,其展現的公民參與愈高。因上述結果,筆者給予以下建議:(一)身為父母,在孩童接觸多人線上遊戲時給予陪伴,能使其獲得必要的成長;(二)身為教育者,可以將多人線上遊戲融入教學中,使教學更具多元與吸引力;(三)身為研究人員,未來可以找尋更全面的方法,盡可能涵蓋研究的施測對象,並加入質性方法使研究更加深入,也可加入不同變項使研究更多元。
"Multiplayer online games" have become an integral part of our daily lives and their impact cannot be ignored. Therefore, it is essential to view their influence positively, aiming to utilize them for self-improvement. This research is going to understand the "depth" of contemporary players' engagement in multiplayer online games and its effects on their social skills, teamwork skills, and civic participation. The author collected 339 valid questionnaires from various gaming forums. The research findings indicate correlations between players' depth of engagement in multiplayer online games and their social skills, teamwork, and civic participation. Specifically, higher levels of social skills exhibited by players in multiplayer online games correspond to higher levels of teamwork displayed. Furthermore, increased levels of teamwork in multiplayer online games correlate with higher levels of civic participation. Based on these results, the author offers the following recommendations: (1) Parents should provide guidance and accompany children when they engage in multiplayer online gaming to facilitate necessary growth; (2) Educators can integrate multiplayer online gaming into teaching to enhance diversity and attractiveness in education; (3) Researchers should seek more comprehensive methods in future studies, covering a wider range of subjects, and incorporate qualitative methods to deepen research, as well as include different variables to diversify the study.
