校務研究議題在國外持續延燒,而這股潮流也開始影響國內,由於台灣高等教育高度普及化,我國大專院校數量最多時為2010年,當時有高達164所大專院校,但是近年來受到少子化問題影響,截至2015年大專院校已減少至159所,使得各校招生競爭激烈,如何透過校務分析獲得關於學生的有效資訊,以及學生學習成效之訊息,提高教學品質將會是個重要議題。 本研究探討方向將著重於課程的關聯性分析與學生的學習成效之集群分析,根據C大學資管系的學生必修課資料來執行相關分析,找出各分類課程之間的關聯性,同時也進行集群分析,以各課程表現將學生分群分析,了解不同群組學生的特性,而以上的分析結果將會提供給系所,幫助教學單位設計因材施教的教學方案,並了解有輔導需求的學生。 未來開發課程智慧分析系統時,校級單位可以依據本研究之分析結果與經驗,發展出功能完備的課程智慧分析系統。
Institutional Research is getting important and this trend also happens in Taiwan. In 2010, there were 164 universities. However, impacted by the decline of birth rate in Taiwan, the number of universities will reduces to 159 in 2015. It makes university enrollments become more competitive. How to use Institutional Research to analyze students’ available information and students’ learning effectiveness are two important issues for improving teaching quality. The purpose of this research is to explore course relationship and use cluster analysis of learning effectiveness to find the relationship between course classification and students. Data was collected by the Department of Information Management in C University. We run cluster analysis by using each course performance of students to understand the characteristic of different student groups. The results can help teachers of teaching units to design different teaching methods for students and find the students who need guidance. University unit can base on the results and experiences of this study to develop functional Smart Course Analytics system.
