企業推動友善職場策略之研究-以攜帶寵物上班為例

Research on Promoting a Friendly Workplace Strategy in Enterprises - Taking the Example of Bringing Pets to Work

摘要


本研究以八位已實施友善職場之企業主管,且對攜帶寵物上班議題有興趣,包含企業主及人力資源從業人員做為訪談對象,旨在探討友善職場推動攜帶寵物上班策略之目的,期望透過研究達到以下目的: 一、企業推動攜帶寵物上班之友善職場目的及背景。 二、探究企業推動攜帶寵物上班之具體措施。 三、探究企業推動攜帶寵物上班之配套措施與解決方式。 四、分析企業推動攜帶寵物上班對組織與員工之影響。 本研究以質性研究作為研究方法,採用半結構式深度訪談八位研究對象,蒐集本研究所需之資料進行研究,依據研究發現結論歸納如下: 一、友善職場的核心價值在於提供有競爭力的薪資和福利,致力於創造一個全方位良好的工作環境,提供人性化的設備,關心家庭生活需求,重視健康,協助應對壓力,促進和諧的同事關係,並鼓勵自我成長和提昇個人價值,使員工感受被重視與關愛。 二、企業推動攜帶寵物上班政策有支持與反對兩方觀點。支持者認為此政策能提昇員工幸福感、滿意度、團隊凝聚力,並改善企業形象和招募人才。反對者則指出,這政策可能不適合所有產業和環境,且對招募效果的提昇可能有限等趨力所致。 三、企業在考慮允許員工攜帶寵物上班時,需權衡正反意見,支持者主張創建寵物友好環境並實施防護措施;反對者則強調顧及不喜歡或害怕寵物的員工感受及公司形象,制定明確政策並收集員工反饋是決策的重要參考依據。 四、企業在實施攜帶寵物上班時,面臨產業適用性、對員工工作進展掌握的影響及寵物之動物福祉保全的挑戰;解決方案包括靈活調整以符合產業需求,以平衡工作效率和寵物友好環境的需求作為應對挑戰的方案。 五、台灣企業在推動攜帶寵物上班政策後,可採取定期評估與適當調整政策、提供必要的設施和資源、尊重非寵物愛好者的需求、建立有效的反饋機制,以利成功推動寵物友善政策。

This study interviewed eight managers from companies that have already implemented pet-friendly workplace policies and are interested in the issue of bringing pets to work, including business owners and HR professionals. The aim is to explore strategies for promoting pet-friendly workplaces, with the following objectives: 1. Purpose and background of promoting pet-friendly workplaces in enterprises. 2. Investigation of specific measures for promoting pet-friendly workplaces. 3. Exploration of complementary measures and solutions for promoting pet-friendly workplaces. 4. Analysis of the impact of promoting pet-friendly workplaces on organizations and employees. This study adopts qualitative research as its methodology, using semi-structured in-depth interviews with eight research subjects to collect the necessary data. The conclusions based on the research findings are summarized as follows: 1. The core value of a friendly workplace lies in providing competitive salaries and benefits, striving to create a well-rounded and excellent work environment, offering humane facilities, caring for employees' family life needs, prioritizing health, assisting with stress management, promoting harmonious coworker relationships, and encouraging self-growth and the enhancement of personal value, thereby making employees feel valued and cared for. 2. There are both supporting and opposing views on companies promoting policies that allow employees to bring pets to work. Supporters believe that this policy can enhance employee well-being, satisfaction, team cohesion, improve corporate image, and aid in talent recruitment. Opponents argue that this policy may not be suitable for all industries and environments, and its impact on recruitment effectiveness may be limited. 3. When companies consider allowing employees to bring pets to work, they need to weigh the pros and cons. Supporters advocate for creating a pet-friendly environment and implementing protective measures, while opponents emphasize considering the feelings of employees who dislike or are afraid of pets and the company’s image. Establishing clear policies and gathering employee feedback are crucial reference points for decision-making. 4. Companies face challenges when implementing policies that allow bringing pets to work, such as industry applicability, the impact on employees' work progress, and the protection of pets' welfare. Solutions include flexible adjustments to meet industry needs and balancing the demands of work efficiency and a pet-friendly environment. 5. Taiwanese companies, after promoting policies that allow bringing pets to work, can undertake regular evaluations and appropriate policy adjustments, provide necessary facilities and resources, respect the needs of non-pet lovers, and establish an effective feedback mechanism to successfully promote pet-friendly policies.
