在LTE-A網路下設計Single-cell與MBSFN相鄰無線資源分配機制

摘要


Long Term Evolution (LTE) 是3GPP所制定的第四代無線行動通訊技術,在LTE架構之下,規範了行動用戶(UE)如何透過無線訊號與LTE核心網路(Evolved Packet Core, EPC)的基地台(eNB)連線並進行無線通訊;Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS)是3GPP制定的LTE專用的廣播多點傳播技術,提供Point-to-Multipoint (PTM)服務,使用於大量的 UE 同時接收多媒體資料流,為了克服細胞邊緣UE訊號不良的問題,又進一步提出Multicast/Broadcast over Single Frequency Network (MBSFN),MBSFN傳輸模式為多個基地台同時並且用一樣的頻段來傳輸資料給User Equipment (UE),並且3GPP後來提出的Release 9版本中的也將MBSFN應用於Evolved Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (e-MBMS),然而在此處會有一個問題產生,當Single-cell與MBSFN area相鄰時,如果使用相同的無線資源傳輸資料,會導致兩方接收資料的UE受到來自對方基地台的干擾。 為了解決此問題,本文利用MCE與Single-cell進行排程資訊交換,讓Single-cell避開相鄰MBSFN area使用的資源,如此一來就不會有干擾的產生,從一開始的避開已被MBSFN area使用的TTI、避開已被使用的RB、一直到考量UE 所在位置是否遭受干擾,針對Single-cell提出了四個資源分配機制,來改善MBSFN throughput,並且進一步提升Single-cell capacity。

Long Term Evolution is one of the fourth generation of mobile communication technology standards proposed by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). User Equipment (UE) can connect to eNB via radio interface and communicate with LTE core network (Evolved Packet Core, EPC) in LTE network. 3GPP has defined The Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS) to provide Point-to-Multipoint transmission of broadcast/multicast service. To improve the signal quality of UE which is located in cell edge, 3GPP also has proposed Multicast/Broadcast over Single Frequency Network (MBSFN). In MBSFN mode, the multicast traffic data will be transmitted in multiple cells at the same frequency and time. MBSFN mode was included in Evolved MBMS (e-MBMS) in 3GPP specifications release 9. However, UEs located at the Single-cell and MBSFN area boundary will suffer co-channel interference from the adjacent MBSFN eNB or Single-cell eNB. To resolve this promlem, four Single-cell resource allocation schemes are proposed in this thesis. The proposed schemes can not only improve MBSFN total throughput but also incrase Single-cell usage capacity.
