台灣與日本的傳統航空與廉價航空的競爭動態

Competitive Dynamics of Legacy Carriers and Low-Cost Carriers in Taiwan and Japan

摘要


這項研究以台灣和日本的八家航空公司為樣本,使用2012年至2018年的乘客人數連結Google Tredds(GT)數據進行實證分析。特定關鍵字的搜索數據可用於觀察競爭行為,通過相關分析,研究發現台灣和日本的航空公司的競爭行為不同,網路用戶在關鍵字搜索行為和事後行為之間具有相關性,該研究表明可以通過網路搜索行為來解釋航空公司的競爭。 結果證實,廉價航空傾向發動競爭行動,而且廉價航空的競爭行動比傳統航空更快速。 結果顯示,與傳統航空相比,廉價航空採取競爭行動的傾向更高,而廉價航空的競爭行動比傳統航空更有效。

This study uses eight carriers in Taiwan and Japan as a sample, using the number of passengers from 2012 to 2018 to link Google Trends (GT) data for empirical analysis. Search data for specific keywords can be used to observe competitive actions, through relevant analysis, the study found that carriers’ competitive actions are different in Taiwan and Japan, internet users have a correlation between keyword search behavior and post-action behavior, this study shows that carriers competition can be explained by online search behavior This study explores the competitive actions of carriers based on Dynamics Competitive theory. The results confirm that Low-Cost Carriers have a higher tendency to take competitive actions, and Low-Cost Carriers compete faster than Legacy Carriers. This study uses dynamic competition theory to link real data to explore the carriers' competitive actions. The research results show that compared with legacy carriers, low-cost carriers have a higher tendency to take competitive actions, and the competitive actions of low-cost carriers are more effective than legacy carriers.
