在亞太網路資訊中心 (Asia-Pacific Network Information Centre) 針對全球進行 IPv6 排名,雖然我國名列第 8 名,但依據數據顯示台灣學術網路 (Taiwan Academic Network,以下簡稱TANet) 的 IPv6 連線比例僅為 19.44% ,相較於電信商高達 60~80% 有明顯落差,因此本論文將探討其可能的原因,並提出網頁取樣、 SNMP 收集 Router 記錄、 NetFlow 統計等三種統計模式來探討 TANet 真實的 IPv6 建置狀況。進一步透過訪談南投區網中心的連線單位,包括國、私立高中職校及維護廠商,瞭解目前各校實際建置情形。依訪談現況建議使用 SLAAC (Stateless address autoconfiguration) 派發模式來建置 IPv4/IPv6 Dual-Stack 環境,及提出在 SLAAC 自動派發模式下,監聽 ICMPv6 封包來收集與管理 IPv6 IP Address 與 MAC Address 對照資料,提供連線單位簡便且低成本建置 IPv4/IPv6 Dual-Stack 環境。
Abstract Taiwan ranks 8th worldwide inIPv6 deployment, according to APNIC (Asia-Pacific Network Information Centre) investigation. The IPv6 Capable rate of TANet (Taiwan Academic Network), however, is only 19.44% and is significantly lower than the IPv6 Capable rate of telecommunication companies, which is around 60 ~ 80%. This thesis will explore the possible reasons of it and will study the actual IPv6 deployment status of TANet using three statistics models - webpage sampling, router record collecting via SNMP, and NetFlow counting. We interviewed the users of Nantou Network Regional Center, including public and private high schools and their service providers, to understand the actual IPv6 deployment status of each school. According to the interview results, we suggest using SLAAC (Stateless address autoconfiguration) configuration mechanism to implement IPv4/IPv6 Dual-Stack environment. In addition, we propose to record and manage IPv6 IP Address and MAC Address Data mapping by sniffering the ICMPv6 packets, so that users can easily implement IPv4/IPv6 Dual-Stack environment at lower cost.
