帕徹獨彭皇家大寺院臥佛寺內之音樂圖像研究

摘要


本論文研究方法為音樂圖像學,研究範圍在帕徹獨彭皇家大寺院的臥佛寺,這一座是暹羅、孟和華人風格混合的寺堂。寺堂的壁畫,共分為六個部分,其中有兩部分出現樂器,即第一部分出現的長頸彈撥樂器拼、雙簧管類樂器比、類似中式胡琴形式的樂器縮;以及第二部分出現的,以絲竹為主的嘛侯麗樂隊、以打擊為主的比帕樂隊及一把拼。 壁畫出現的兩把拼,第一把頸部出現一種類似獅子和麒麟之間的形哈造型,隱喻與象徵著皇室,弦的數目則與佛教有關係。比和縮在壁畫中僅作為畫面美觀之用,但是本身有著其他的含義。比的音色尖銳,可增強泰拳拳手的力量,且在傳說中,主角使用此樂器是為了殺死其妻。縮主要有三種,縮肚昂、縮晤、縮三塞,其中縮三塞為貴族的樂器。畫家在此刻意繪畫縮晤,但僅是為了背景的美觀。 樂隊方面,嘛侯麗樂隊和比帕樂隊成員雖然沒有性別規定,但多用於慶典的嘛侯麗樂隊,畫家特意將所有演奏者畫為女性,以顯示柔和的畫面。比帕樂隊樂器組合大部分是打擊樂器,多用於娛樂場合、增添熱鬧,在壁畫的故事中,因比帕樂隊樂音明亮高亢的特性,於征戰中用來鼓舞士氣,因此畫家將其演奏者都繪為男性。

This thesis discussing about iconography, focus in Viharn of reclining Buddha in Wat Pho, this shrine are Siamese Thai, Mon and Chinese style. The mural in this shrine can division as six parts, and two of six parts appear instruments, fisrt is pluck instrument called “Phin”, Thai style oboe called “Pi”, and Thai style fiddle called “Saw”. Second part appeard two types of Thai ensemble and a Phin, the first is comprehensive band called “Mahori”, second band primary instrument is percussion called “Piphat”. In the mural, appear two Phins, the first Phin in head part is legendary creature which between Lion and Kirin called “Singha”, metaphor as imperial, strings in Phin also mean buddhist philosophy. Pi and Saw in mural does not mean anything just beautiful, however these instruments themself still have individual metaphor, Pi is sharp tone color instrument use for inspire on Muay Thai, furthermore in Thai fairy tale, Protagonist use Pi to kill his wife for his extramarital. Saw can divined three types, “Saw Duang”, “Saw Wu” and “Saw Sam Sai”, Saw Sam Sai is instrument for aristocrat, so painter paint Saw Wu as for beautiful. Mahori and Piphat actually don’t have any sexrole, but Mahori suitable for celebration and gentle, so painter paint ladies for beautiful. Piphat primary instrument is percussion, most of all for lively event or even in war, so painter choose painting males in mural.
