八十年代搖滾吉他手之創作與詮釋研究

本文運用音樂研究的方法來回顧搖滾樂風格自1950年代以來的發展，聚焦於1980年代的吉他英雄及其作品，並從實際演奏者的角度，提出深入的詮釋。本文的研究重點在於史提芬．范(Steve Vai, b. 1960)、喬．沙翠亞尼(Joe Satriani, b. 1956)、英格威．瑪姆斯丁(Yngwie Malmsteen, b. 1963)、艾瑞克．約翰遜(Eric Johnson, b. 1954)、孝恩．連恩(Shawn Lane, 1963-2003)、艾迪．范．海倫(Eddie Van Halen, b. 1955)等人彈奏手法的探討，而樂曲分析方面，則採用爵士和聲系統，針對曲式、素材運用、調式、和聲等方面進行分析，觀察歸納出各個吉他手的彈奏與作曲特色。

This study aims to provide an analysis and interpretation of popular music, reviews the development of rock music since the 1950s and focuses on the 1980's guitar heroes and their works. One the other hand, I will provide in-depth interpretations from the actual player's point of view. This paper will analyze the solos of 80’s rock guitarist such as Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Eddie Van Halen, Eric Johnson and Shawn Lane. Furthermore, I will apply jazz harmony system to analyze their works and examine the materials used, modes, form in order to understand their playing and composition styles.
