可用於大尺寸曲面液晶顯示器之高效率背光模組設計

摘要


本論文研究目標為設計整合偏光片及彩色濾光片之功能,且具有曲面導光板之大尺寸LCD背光模組。為因應現今市場需求,輕薄化、低耗能、窄邊框設計是必備條件外,顯示器外型與視覺感受度也是消費者考量的因素。近年來推出許多曲面顯示器,曲面螢幕除了在外型上有更好的設計美感,曲面弧度的設計能符合人體眼球弧形,加上藉由曲面環繞的關係,擁有更廣泛之視角、較佳的對比度,讓觀賞者有沉浸在畫面的感受,能使觀賞者有更好的視覺體驗。 在液晶顯示器中,光源經偏光片偏振化處理時約吸收50%能量,彩色濾光片吸收70%,因此從背光模組中發出的光只有13%~15%能通過LC面板傳輸。本論文設計之背光模組中具有曲面外型,已整合偏振態及色光分色,以代替偏光片及彩色濾光片的功能,最終出光面偏振率可達90%以上,整體能量效率也可提升至四倍 。

The purpose of this paper is to design a large-sized curved LCD backlight module integrated polarizer and color filter. For the market responded,the LCDs must be lightweight,thin,low energy consumption and narrow border. LCD appearance and visual perception both are considerations of consumer. In recent years,there are many curved LCDs be launched. In addition to the appearance of the screen in a better design aesthetic,curvature of the surface design can meet the human eye arc,coupled with the surface surrounded by the relationship,with a wider perspective,better contrast,so that viewers are immersed in picture of the feelings,which can be better visual experience.
