論音樂劇《瑪蒂達》女主角之角色詮釋

本詮釋報告，為音樂劇《瑪蒂達》女主角溫伍德・瑪蒂達(Wormwood Matilda)的探討和分析。報告分為八個章節，第一章為研究動機與研究方法；第二章為初探音樂劇《瑪蒂達》背景，藉由了解創作歷程及此劇的發展使筆者對背景有更全面的認識；第三章為《瑪蒂達》從兒童小說、電影、音樂劇的發展歷程及製作陣容、主演陣容的介紹；第四章為音樂劇《瑪蒂達》文本分析，筆者撰寫劇情大綱、分析劇本結構及角色介紹、曲目安排；第五章筆者進入《瑪蒂達》之價值觀探究；第六章則是音樂劇《瑪蒂達》之女主角瑪蒂達的角色分析，透過劇本線索、角色背景、角色形象與其它角色之間的關係來撰寫；第七章為音樂劇《瑪蒂達》之女主角演唱歌曲及部分重要歌曲〈Miracle〉、〈Naughty〉、〈Pathetic〉、〈Bruce〉、〈When I Grow Up〉、〈Quiet〉、〈Revolting children〉；第八章為本報告之結論。

The purpose of this interpretative research is to invest and further analyze Wormwood Matilda, the leading role of musical《Matilda》. There are eight sections in this research. The first chapter contains research motivations and research methods； The second chapter aims to explore the background knowledge to readers by elaborating both the creating period and the following stages of development of《Matilda》；The third chapter is divided into two parts, which in sequence are to introduce the different manifestations of《Matilda》from children's novels, films to musicals and to present crew of production and casts of each specific form；The fifth chapter is to analyze the value system of《Matilda》；The sixth chapter is to study and interpret Matilda through hints from libretto, background knowledge of characters, image of characters and the interactions between roles； The seventh chapter collects songs performed by Matilda and few vital songs done by other characters, which includes〈Miracle〉、〈Naughty〉、〈Pathetic〉、〈Bruce〉、〈When I Grow Up〉、〈Quiet〉 and 〈Revolting children〉； The final chapter is the conclusion of this research.
