論音樂劇《金髮尤物》女主角之角色詮釋

摘要
此詮釋報告為百老匯音樂劇《金髮尤物》女主角艾爾・伍茲一角的研究與探討。此報告分為七個章節。第一章是緒論，講述筆者的研究動機與研究方法；第二章為《金髮尤物》的背景探究，透過了解二零零零年代美國社會的價值觀與社會現象，使筆者能同理角色遇到的困難與了解劇作的時代背景；第三章《金髮尤物》各版本的史料介紹包括劇作家、作曲、導演、編舞等，之後再行各版本情節與人物比較；第四章《金髮尤物》文本分析，分析劇本的架構與曲目安排；第五章《金髮尤物》為女主角艾爾・伍茲的角色分析，透過對角色背景、外在及內在的了解，和她與其他角色的關係，使筆者能更深入與鮮明的詮釋此角；第六章為艾爾・伍茲所演唱曲目的分析，分別為〈Omigod You Guys〉、〈Serious〉、〈What You Want〉、〈Positive〉、〈Serious-Reprise〉、〈Run Rufus Run/Elle Reflects〉、〈So Much Better〉、〈Legally Blonde〉、〈Legally Blonde Remix〉、〈Omigod You Guys-Remix〉、〈Find My Way/Finale〉十一首歌；第七章為此詮釋報告的總結。

This report is a case study of the Broadway musical Legally Blonde, with a focus on the analysis and interpretation of the leading female roles, Elle Wood. The report contains seven chapters. The author first presents the motivation and research methods in Chapter One, and explore the background of Legally Blonde by examining the value and the social phenomenon of American culture in Chapter 2, which helps the author be empathetic about the difficulties the character is facing and understand the historical background of the play. Chapter Three gives a brief overview of the musical Legally Blonde and its adaptation, introduces the lyricist, composer, director and choreographer, and compares the differences between these versions. Chapter Four analyzes the script and the show as a whole, with respect to the characters, the story, and the music, while Chapter Five focuses on the analysis of the leading females, Elle Wood. By investigating the clues in the script, the author observes these characters’ backgrounds, images, and relationships with other characters. The interpretation of songs sung by leading actresses is covered in Chapter Six, including “Omigod You Guys,” “Serious,” “What You Want,” “Positive,” “Serious-Reprise,” “Run Rufus Run/Elle Reflects,” “So Much Better” and “Legally Blonde,” “Legally Blonde Remix,” “Omigod You Guys-Remix,” and “Find My Way/Finale,”. The last chapter is the conclusion.
