美國次級房貸風暴對於金磚四國的影響：以印度基金為例

本文依據情報贏家2000資料庫選取績效表現較好，且發行時間滿三年以上的八檔印度基金進行討論，分別是JF印度基金、安本環球-印度基金、博聯-印度成長基金、富蘭克林坦伯頓全球-印度基金、貝萊德印度基金、匯豐環球投資基金、首域印度次大陸基金及利安資金印度基金等八檔基金。利用平均數、標準差、CAPM模型中的β、夏普指數比較其投資績效報酬率，並使用絕對風險值-相對風險值、歷史模擬法與蒙地卡羅法計算次級房貸前、中、後印度基金的風險值差異情形。本文選取2008年1月1日與2009年1月1日為次級房貸分割點，次級房貸前擷取時間為2007年1月1日至2007年12月31日止，次級房貸中擷取時間為2008年1月1日至2008年12月31日止，次級房貸後擷取時間為2009年1月1日至2010年12月31日止。在次級房貸發生前，印度基金之夏普指數為0.5979，β平均值為1.0214；而次級房貸發生時，印度基金之夏普指數為-0.6327，β平均值為1.0263；次級房貸發生後，印度基金之夏普指數為0.4100，β平均值為1.2032。結果發現，在追求高報酬時，投資人可以選擇安本環球-印度股票基金(美元)做為投資標的物，其原因為在次級房貸前與次級房貸後時，安本環球-印度股票基金(美元)之報酬率跌幅較少；而在考量風險因素後，我們將推薦投資人選擇匯豐環球投資基金-印度股票AD(美元)作為投資標地物，其原因為在次級房貸前與次級房貸後時，匯豐環球投資基金-印度股票AD(美元)之平均年均報酬率較高。

In this paper, eight Indian funds, JF India Fund, Aberdeen Global-Indian Equity Fund, AllianceBernstein India Growth Fund, Franklin India Fund, BlackRock India Fund, HSBC Global Investment Funds, First State Indian Subcontinent Fund, and LionGlobal India Fund, selected from Info Winner 2000 Database for their better performance and having been issued for a long period of time, are reviewed and further discussed. The average, the standard deviation, the β in the CAPM, and the Sharp Ratio are employed to compare the investment rates of return with the value at risk (VaR) for Indian funds before/during/after the subprime mortgage crisis calculated by means of the absolute VaR- the relative VaR, the Historical Simulation, and the Monte Carlo Simulation. The findings from this research illustrates that in the pursuit of high reward-high risk investment, Aberdeen Global-Indian Equity Fund is superior to other funds as target investment for its milder slump in the rate of return before/after he subprime mortgage crisis; the risk considered, however, HSBC Global Investment Funds is recommendable as target investment owing to its higher annual rate of return before/ after the subprime mortgage crisis.
