近幾年來,大眾媒體不斷的成長,尤其是網際網路的發達,讓許多藝人無須花費大量的費用,就可以獲得許多的曝光機會。正因如此,許多大型企業開始投入於影視、音樂市場。比如Apple成立了iTunes的影音交易平台,而Youtube也成為了網路上最熱門的影片分享網站之一。越來越多的人開始投入專業娛樂領域,使得娛樂業變得非常競爭。雖說許多藝人獲得了相當的成就與地位,也有許多人在此行業投入了大量資源而為能得到對等的回饋。 本研究的目的將探索與了解幕前演藝工作者的成功關鍵因素其成功定義為擁有社會影響力以及可觀的收入。研究中使用了網路面談的方式與文獻的結合來確認研究架構。受訪者包括在娛樂業有豐富經驗的18位演藝人員,其中包括四位媒體人員,六位經紀人,以及八位歌手與影星。研究中顯示架構分成四面,分別為:人際能力,才藝,天生特質,與外在因素。此外,在四個層面中,各分為三個次層面,總計為十二個關鍵成功因素。藝人成功因素的層級化能夠幫助藝人、經紀公司、與經紀人提高幕前藝人的成功機率,與幫助演藝人員建立更清楚的職業路徑。
In recent years, due to the extensive growth in mass media, particularly the Internet, an unprecedented amount of artists and entertainers were able to obtain the chance to become widely seen without the need to invest large sums of money for marketing. A lot of renowned companies have begun to invest into the music and movie industry; companies like Apple have created music and movie platforms through iTunes, while Youtube has grown to be one of the most popular online video sharing websites. More and more people have begun to pursue a professional entertainment career, making this career path extremely competitive. Though there are many people who have reached fame and fortune through artistry, there is also an increasing amount of people who cannot obtain such an achievement even though they have committed no less than the ones who succeeded. The problem persists that not all people have a clear understanding of the entertainment field, and many who have decided to pursue such a career does not know the proper way to approach success in this industry. The purpose of this study is to discover and prioritize the critical factors leading to success of performing artists, with success defined as having high amount of income and social representation. Online interviews and previous literature were utilized in the process of collecting data, and re-affirmation of the constructed framework. The target interviewees for this research are 18 people who have extensive experience in the entertainment industry including six agents, eight singer/movie stars, and four media workers. According to the results, four major dimensions were constructed, these are: Social Ability, Trained Skills, Innate Characteristics, and External Factors. The research also developed twelve sub-factors under the four major dimensions, with three factors directly related to each of the major dimensions. Prioritizing the successful factors can help artists, agents, and entertainment companies improve the chances of performing artist success and give lucid directions for a better career path.
