近年考試院逐步放寬律師錄取名額,迄至民國九十年代末期,律師市場已趨近飽和,今日律師業面臨的競爭壓力已大幅增加,律師事務所經營更有針對競爭策略進行研究的必要。面對將供過於求的律師產業市場,中小型律師事務所面對的競爭壓力更勝於大型律師事務所,因大型律師事務所包括財力、人力等各種資源充沛,已經奠定的商譽更是市場競爭利器,因此上市櫃公司或國外企業在無從比較國內法律事務所優劣的基礎,又不以費用為首要考量的情形下,往往直接選擇知名大型法律事務所。相反的,中小型律師事務所的能見度低,進入門檻低,未來面對產業變化的衝擊尤為巨烈。 本研究案透過個案訪談、蒐集資料,瞭解現今律師產業的狀況及所遭遇難處,更對臺灣中小型法律事務所的經營背景與環境、競爭對手、競爭優勢、困難與挑戰、以及未來經營方向及策略予以描述與說明,可提供目前經營中小型律師事務所之經營者做為確立營運方面及面對競爭之參考,且日後欲設立中小型律師事務所之人,亦可事先瞭解現今律師產業狀況,以評估是否投入市場及預擬投入市場後可行之經營方向及策略。
In recent years, the Examination Yuan gradually relaxed the number of lawyers. Since the late 1990s, the lawyer market has approached saturation. The competitive pressure faced by the lawyer industry has increased substantially. The management of law firms is more necessary to conduct research on competition strategies. In the face of the oversupply of the lawyer industry market, small and medium-sized law firms face more competitive pressure than large law firms. Because large law firms include financial resources, manpower and other resources, the goodwill that has been laid is more market competition. Listed company or foreign companies in the absence of comparison of the strengths and weaknesses of domestic law firms, and not the cost of the primary consideration, often directly choose well-known large law firms. On the contrary, small and medium-sized law firms have low visibility and low barriers to entry, and the impact of industrial changes in the future is particularly strong. Through case interviews and collecting information, this research case understands the current situation of the lawyer industry and the difficulties encountered, as well as the business background and environment of Taiwan's small and medium-sized law firms, competitors, competitive advantages, difficulties and challenges, and future business directions. The strategy is described and explained. It can provide the operators of small and medium-sized law firms as the reference for establishing operational aspects and facing competition. Those who want to set up small and medium-sized law firms in the future can also know the current status of the lawyer industry in advance. To assess whether it is put into the market and the business direction and strategy that is feasible after it is put into the market.
