摘要
《集體意識的建築》橫跨2013-2016於交大建築研究所在學期間與學期外，從自身參與學制內與學制外一系列作為，反思自身建築定位與當代建築操作的可能性。 論文架構以社會學中的分工論佐證觀察，切入尺度橫跨建築、都市、社會，並拆解其建築性格操作背後的社會意涵，進而推導當代社會的建築運作契機，過程引用三部俱有時代當下意義的電影台詞內文，藉以呼應該篇章的不言而喻。 集體意識是一定歷史醞釀的產物，作為當下時期的個體意識集合體，而集體意識的力量，不單純是一代人的一致性，更在於它的背景繼承絕大多數前幾代人的遺產，也就是「社會」；本論文以三種運作社會，兼容無層級的力量作為模型：政治、資本與人民，描述以回應社會為學理的建築教育，在當代實踐的機會與衝突。 在建築設計的歷史中，工業革命後產生至今最大的變革：假以他手的機械化生產，讓設計過程與製造過程分離成兩個族群。因此「設計」從過去長久以來經驗傳承成的工匠體系，透過設計方法的分析歸納成為一門顯學，並從服務端跳脫精英階級增加設計目的在社會的觸及對象與數量。 設計形式隨著設計製造規模化與模矩化而導致服務對象增加所創造的多元目的，一如社會價值觀的多元闡述，設計目的如何回應社會，並建立與社會有效的「價值」溝通，使得設計形式的成就「對象」在當今的社會受到更高規格的挑戰。本論文章節架構分為三個部分 第一章（Lucy）：造就當代集體意識的模型是一個運動狀態社會現象的痕跡累積過程，並從中理解設計背景提問的衝突點與社會資源實踐的可行性。 第二章（Interstellar）：作為演練以三種規模尺度的觀點，去形式性觀點的提問與辯證過程，操作集體意識的價值塑造的方式：建築形式到建築形態、都市物件到都市事件、社會活動到社會運動。 第三章（The Imitation Game）：當代實踐的機會與衝突，在於創造價值目的的制高點，開放的合眾系統是為集體意識的空間樣貌。

"Building of Collective Consciousness" spans 2013-2016 outside the school year and the semester of the Jiaotong University Architecture Research Institute.
