想法信心對自我說服的影響

Effects of Thought Confidence on Self-Persuasion

摘要


本研究想探討自我說服中,當參與者欲說服的目標不同,高想法信心以及正常狀態下對於態度的影響。實驗一和實驗二所使用的議題皆為和參與者相同立場的校園議題,實驗一的結果顯示,想法信心確實有調節說服目標的效果;想法信心提高時,原先說服目標不同所造成的態度差異將會消失;說服目標為他人時所造成的自我說服效果無顯著高於說服目標為自己的情況;除此之外更發現想法信心此調節作用其實是經由論點品質所中介的,是為一被中介的調節作用。實驗二再一次證明了想法信心對於說服目標的調節是經由論點品質中介而來,在實驗二中操弄了提升想法信心的時機點,結果發現確實要在列下論點之前提升想法信心進而提升論點品質,才會有提高態度之效果。而在列下論點之後才提升想法信心,則不會有提高態度之效果。
