本研究旨在開發出一套自動化葫蘆雕刻機智能系統,此系統採用機械視覺技術,可準確地量測建構不規則形狀葫蘆之三維立體形貌,並研製開發專屬CAD/CAM轉換之加工軟體,將欲雕刻之2D圖形檔,匯入所研製的軟體掃描輪廓形成雕刻路徑;在圖形的編輯功能上,依照需求可作圖形的複製、移動、縮放、鏡像、輪廓偏置等路徑編輯功能。另外可設定多種加工方式如:鑽孔、浮雕、平移切穿、雷射…等;在文字路徑編輯上可輸入欲雕刻文字,軟體能將文字直接轉換成為加工路徑進行雕刻。最終此系統能將設計完成之所有圖形,貼附於不規則形狀葫蘆三維立體形貌上,且可事先模擬出加工後的結果讓操作者能事先確認,直到滿意後再進行實際雕刻加工製造,完成葫蘆工藝品成品。
The purpose of this research was devoted to developing an automated intelligent machine for engraving gourd artworks. In advance, the most difficulties in reversely measuring the relatively irregular shape of gourd body were solved via the machine vision technology. The 3D Contours are constructed and converted to the cutting and drilling 2D machining paths by using the self-designed CAD/CAM expert software system. The main functions of editing graphic patterns projected on gourd surface are of graph duplication, location, mirror, contour offset, Zoom in/out and so on upon the arranged demands. Moreover, the various carved ways can be established, such as holes drilled, relief-drilled, through-drilled etc. For the smart software, virtual machine paths can previously be simulated to preview the edited results. Finally, the developed intelligent engraving system can conveniently perform on the seriously irregular shape machine processes.
