The hairstyles of male celebrities aged between 20 to 50 years old from TV shows, movies and drama as well as music billboards from the recent ten years were analyzed to explore the relationship between their face shapes and hairstyles. The study was divided into two stages. In the first stage, past literatures relating to the research purpose was collected in order to compile an expert validity survey – the Operational Definition of 7 Main Aspects of 17 Types of Common Hairstyle Designs of Celebrities, for which experts were invited to inspect the validity of the survey. In the second stage, the Operational Definition of 7 Main Aspects of 17 Types of Common Hairstyle Designs of Celebrities was used as the analysis tool to conduct statistical analysis. Based on the above, the research findings can be concluded as follows: III I. Common hairstyles for square faces include the short and choppy hairstyle, brushed back hairstyle and side-swept choppy hairstyle. II. Common hairstyles for rectangular faces include the short and choppy hairstyle, brushed back hairstyle, side-swept choppy hairstyle as well as the short fringe hairstyle. III. Common hairstyles for round faces include the short fringe hairstyle, quiff hairstyle and layered quiff hairstyle. IV. Common hairstyles for inverted triangular faces include the short and choppy hairstyle, side-swept choppy hairstyle and short fringe hairstyle. V.
