花蓮縣新城鄉民宿經營模式之個案研究

摘要

花蓮縣新城鄉鄰近地區具遊憩吸引力的自然景點為太魯閣國家公園、中橫公路、蘇花公路濱海沿線，此外尚有賞鯨、泛舟等水上活動。為彌補觀光旅館房數不足及因應遊客多元住宿需求，近年來新城鄉民宿數量穩定成長但也面臨旅遊人數減少，住房率不高的挑戰。本研究針對目前新城鄉民宿之經營模式以深度訪談了解經營現況，希望能為新城鄉個案民宿提出建言。

There are several natural attractions and adventure tourism options near the Xincheng Township in Hualien County, such as the Taroko National Park, the Central Cross Island Highway, the Suhua Highway along the coast area, whale watching, and rafting. In order to make up for the shortage of tourism hotels and the diverse preference for accommodations, the number of bed and breakfast (B&B) has been growing steadily in recent years, but it is also facing the challenge of reducing the number of tourists and low occupancy rate. This study examined the current business situation and mode of operation for the B&B by in-depth interviews with the managers.
