力竭性運動後補充雞精對生理疲勞及心理情緒之影響

Effects of Chicken Essence Supplementation on Physiological Fatigue and Psychological Mood States after Exhaustive Exercise

摘要


本研究目的為探討力竭性運動後補充雞精對生理疲勞及心理情緒之影響。本研究採雙盲交叉試驗,17位健康男學生隨機分派為力竭性運動後立即飲用 136 mL的雞精或安慰劑,2 階段間格 2 週,並收集受試者的血液及記錄 POMS(profile of mood states)問卷。第二天,受試者在原地跑步機上進行運動強度75% VO2max的力竭性運動,並記錄運動時間。本研究結果顯示雞精組與安慰劑組之肌酸激酶活性與血糖值,於運動力竭點無顯著差異。雞精組在運動後第 15 及 30 分鐘,血乳酸及血氨下降百分比顯著大於安慰劑組(血乳酸 42.9 & 67.7 % vs. 37.3 & 63.3 %;血氨 57.2 & 82.2 % vs. 47.6 & 76.1 %);此外,在運動休息後POMS之疲勞分數顯著低於安慰劑組(2.9 vs. 5.5);以運動強度75% VO2max於原地跑步機上之運動表現時間雞精組顯著大於安慰劑組(33.4 vs. 30.4 min)。本研究結果顯示力竭性運動後立即補充雞精有助於人體生理疲勞的消除及心理情緒的改善。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of CE (chicken essence) supplementation on physiological fatigue and psychological mood states after exhaustive exercise. Seventeen healthy male students were assigned to drink either CE or PL (placebo) on two sessions separated by 2 weeks. After 8hr fasting, they run on a treadmill until exhaustive. Blood samples and POMS (profile of mood states) scores were collected and recorded during the recovery period. The next day, subjects run on a treadmill at an estimated speed corresponding to their 75% VO2max which was used to evaluate the performance between the two groups. The eliminate rate of lactate and ammonia at 15 and 30 min of the recovery period were significantly lower in the CE group, as compared to those in the PL group (lactate 42.9 & 67.7 % vs. 37.3 & 63.3 %; ammonia 57.2 & 82.2 % vs. 47.6 & 76.1 %). Besides, fatigue scores of POMS were significantly decreased in the CE group, as compared to that in the PL group (2.9 vs. 5.5). The performance time of 75% VO2max running were significantly longer in the CE group, as compared to that in the PL group (33.4 vs. 30.4 min). The results indicated that CE supplementation after an exhaustive exercise could enhance physiological recovery and improve psychological mood in humans.
