以使用者經驗探討企業資源規劃系統(ERP)的介面圖像辨識與使用性

User Experiences Study: Exploring the user interface for the Enterprise Resource Planning System via icon identification and system usability

摘要


早在90年代,隨著科技與網際網路逐漸發達,產業間越來越緊密,因此許多公司紛紛導入企業資源規劃系統(Enterprise Resource System,以下簡稱ERP系統),將各部門資源有效整合、降低成本、提高產能,以增加企業競爭力。然而現今市面上的系統缺乏使用者導向,畫面複雜且過時,導致新手使用者需要透過教育訓練與反覆練習來熟悉系統的操作。因此,本研究目的為(一)探討使用者對於企業資源規劃系統(ERP)的使用狀況,歸納與分析共同問題,找出使用者需求。(二)探討企業資源規劃系統(ERP)介面圖像的辨識性,並提出修改建議,以提升整體介面易讀性。(三)以精靈式介面作為操作引導,研究是否對新手使用者操作ERP介面有正向影響。 本研究包含兩個部分,第一部分為前導性研究與圖像辨識性調查,以半結構式訪談了解現有ERP系統使用者在「初次學習」與「操作熟練」的使用情況,並透過專家焦點團體討論與問卷調查,找出ERP系統中辨識性不佳的icon圖像,重新調整設計。第二部分為實驗研究,以先前的調查結果,驗證精靈式介面是否能對新手使用者,在操作績效與使用性有正向影響。 企業資源規劃系統(ERP)的使用經驗調查結果顯示,現今使用者認為ERP系統的介面複雜,不便於新手使用者學習,「找不到目標功能」是許多使用者都會遇到的問題。系統資料是每個流程環環相扣,當有表單資料要修改調整時,會需要針對每一個流程進行單一調整。在鼎新ERP系統介面圖像辨識研究結果中,得出參考現有介面設計規範所修改的介面圖像較符合意象的聯想。而從介面操作的實驗結果發現,精靈式介面的引導對於新手使用者的效益不大,即使能加快部分使用者在操作的效率,但在使用性並沒有顯著的幫助。 未來企業資源規劃系統(ERP)的廠商在新系統開發或是優化產品時,應以使用者角度進行考量,讓介面圖像符合使用者對功能的聯想,以利提升易讀性與使用性。新手使用者的學習效率仍然是個待改善的問題,建議在開發ERP系統時應考慮使用者在學習上是否有其他機制協助,提升學習效率進而增加產品的效益。

As early as the 1990s, with the gradual development of technology and the Internet, the industry has a close-knit relationship. Therefore, Enterprise Resource System (ERP) are used to integrate the company resources of various department to reduce cost, increase production capacity and corporate competitiveness. However, most of the system is lacking user-centered design, and the interface is too complex and to read. If novice or first-time users want to get familiar with the system, they have to be trained and keep practicing. Therefore, The current study aims to investigate three aspects: (1) To summarize and analyze common problems after exploring the use of the Enterprise Resource System (ERP), and to find out the needs through user experience. (2) Discuss the recognizability of the e Enterprise Resource System (ERP) interface image, and propose revision suggestions to improve the overall interface legibility. (3) Use the wizard interface as an operation guide to study whether it has a positive impact on novice users operating the ERP interface. This study includes two parts. The first part is a pilot study. The purpose is to understand the usage of "initial learning" and "proficient operation" of ERP system by the semi-structured interviews. The interview results were presented by Persona. I Through expert focus group discussions and questionnaire surveys, find out and re-design the poorly recognizable icons in the ERP system. In the second part, based on previous study, to verify whether the wizard interface can have a positive impact on novice users on operational performance, usability and satisfaction. The results of the survey on the use experience of the Enterprise Resource System (ERP) shows that today's users think that the interface of the ERP system is complicated and it is not easy for novice users. "Miss the target function" is a problem that many users will encounter. In the research results of Dingxin ERP system interface image recognition, it is concluded that the interface icons modified with reference to the existing interface design guidline is more conform to the image meaning. According to the research results, wizard interface is not effective during users use the Enterprise Resource System (ERP). Even if it can speed up the operation efficiency of some users, it does not significantly help in terms of usability and satisfaction. In the future, manufacturers of Enterprise Resource System (ERP) should consider from the perspective of users when developing new systems or optimizing products. The interface icons can conform to the user's associations of functions, so as to improve legibility and usability. The learning satisfaction and efficiency of novice users are still issues that need to be improved. It is recommended that when developing an ERP system, whether there are other mechanisms to assist users in learning should be considered to improve learning efficiency and increase products.
