This study explores the effect of three basic geometric elements, triangle, circle, and square, on the visual attention of subjects with different backgrounds when combined with common "decorative patterns" in daily life. Through the four most basic movement methods in the law, plus the other three derived from rotation, a total of seven movement methods and three geometric figures were used to produce 21 samples. The research is divided into two parts. The first part Using the "experimental method", two wearable devices of eye movement tracking and brain wave detection are used to collect the subject's response data, and through the search test to understand the influence of different background subjects on different combinations of samples on visual attention; The second part uses the "questionnaire survey" method to collect the cognition and preferences of people with or without design education background for graphic composition. Finally, the results of the two parts are analyzed by SPSS. The results are as follows: 1. After simple teaching, the eye movement trajectories of subjects without design background are similar to those with design background. In addition, subjects with a design background were more relaxed during the test than subjects with different backgrounds. 2. The unit pattern in the sample that is meaningful to the subject can attract attention and drive eye movement, and reflect it in liking. 3. There are significant differences in the "unit pattern" and "geometric element movement" of the three basic geometric figures, which affect visual judgment. The results can be used as a reference for course design and product pattern design of design-related disciplines.
