電影短片《蘇芯語改名字》創作論述

A critique Essay on the Graduation Film “My Name Is…”

摘要

《蘇芯語改名字》本片以國二女生陳思妤因為父母離婚改從母姓的家庭故事為主軸。講述一個試圖想要回自己名字的女孩，在青春期間逐漸理解大人世界的複雜，看似支離破碎，卻也都是陳思妤（蘇芯語）無法輕易割捨的親情。其實，她追尋的從來不是表面的名字，而是對原本「圓滿的家」的想念。
本論述將透過整理《蘇芯語改名字》的創作過程，探討創作的設計與思考。
此外，也將分享在影片製作上的執行和問題，以及筆者在此過程中所獲得的反思。

The film My Name Is…revolves around Chen Si-yu, a girl in grade eight, who changes her surname to her mother's due to parents' divorce. The story talks about a girl who attempts to reclaim her own name, and gradually understands the complexities of the adult’s world during her adolescence.
Even Chen Si-yu (Su Xin-yu) having a broken family, she still can’t abandon the kinship easily. In fact, what she is seeking for is not just her name, but the happy family before.
This thesis will explain the design thinking through organizing the production process of My Name Is…
Additionally, I will also share the challenges that we faced during production period, as well as the reflections.
