蝴蝶蘭為台灣第三大最有價值的外銷農產品,這也使台灣擁有『蝴蝶蘭王國』的美譽。能夠有這樣的成就,有賴許多中小型蝴蝶蘭蘭園業者努力不斷發展,開發新品種以滿足市場需求。然而,由於市場瞬息萬變,台灣蝴蝶蘭產業的生態也不斷迅速變化。其中,除了國際間與美國,日本以及荷蘭的合作與競爭,台灣蝴蝶蘭市場分工在精緻化的市場需求之下,眾多大型企業在嗅探到蝴蝶蘭產業的商機後,也紛紛跨足此產業加入戰局,而使得台灣的蝴蝶蘭產業競爭更加激烈。是故,在紅海市場下,中小型蝴蝶蘭業者將面臨與大型企業競爭的問題,中小型蝴蝶來業者如何在市場佔有一席之地,將成為相當重要的課題與挑戰。 本研究以台灣中小型蝴蝶蘭業者A為個案研究對象,經過實際深度訪談個案公司總經理,除了解個案公司在蝴蝶蘭產業之發展背景及歷程外,並以商業模式、SWOT分析等分析方法,探究個案公司所擁有的優勢以及其所面臨的挑戰。個案公司所提供之相關資訊對於台灣蝴蝶蘭產業的發展極具參考之價值,而本研究對於個案公司商業模式之營運與運作規劃之分析,亦可以做為後進業者經營之借鏡。希望本研究能有助於台灣中小型蝴蝶蘭業者的行銷以及營運策略方向,使台灣中小型蝴蝶蘭業者能夠把握優勢,也可以拓展更開闊的國際市場。
Being the third most valuable agricultural export in Taiwan, Phalaenopsis orchid undoubtedly wins reputation of “Kingdom of Phalaenopsis” worldwide. Due to the large quantity of small-medium Phalaenopsis orchid nurseries continovoly developing new varieties, Taiwan holds the advantage in the Phalaenopsis orchid market in the wolld. However, with the changing rapidly in markeplace, the circumstance of Taiwanese Phalaenopsis orchid industry is also changing rapidly. Along with the cooperation and competition with the United States, Japan and the Netherlands, the work division within Taiwanese Phalaenopsis orchid market is now more refined. Besides, after sniffing the potential of Phalenopsis' profits, various large enterprises have expanded their business in agriculture, endeavoring to obtain shares of Phalaenopsis orchid market, making this industry in Taiwan even more competitive. In this situation, small-medium Phalaenopsis orchid nurseries are facing the problem to compete with large-scale enterprises, and thus how to maintain market share is currently a huge challenge to small-medium Phalaenopsis orchid nurseries. This research focuses on a Taiwanese small-medium size Phalaenopsis orchid nursery by actual interview with the case company, along with the analysis of SWOT and business model, this research analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the company, and having a glimpse of Taiwanese Phalaenopsis orchid's current export status. The findings of this present research will provide appropriate business strategy for Taiwanese small-medium Phalaenopsis orchid nurseries to compet in a wider international market.
