The overemphasis of the protection of intellectual property has caused Internet service providers to filter packets and violate network neutrality. To protect their own rights of Internet surfing, consumers need to learn to detect whether their Internet connections are filtered. The Open Observatory of Network Interference (OONI) and ICSI Netalyzr of the University of Berkeley can help end users test network neutrality. This thesis uses sample cases to illustrate how to read the reports generated by OONI and ICSI Netalyzr.
