The psychological aspects of human beings encompass both positive and negative elements. Often, individuals usually display their favorable traits while concealing their darker selves. In modern life, people develop various "masks" as external forms to adapt to societal expectations. These masks may unconsciously suppress negative states and potentially lead to violent behaviors, which Carl Gustave Jung calls the "Persona." The core concept of this creative work revolves around the aesthetics of violence and the Persona, utilizing comics as a medium to express an individual's visual vocabulary concerning negative emotions. This study collects knowledge related to comics, the aesthetics of violence, and the Persona. Content analysis and semiotics are applied to analyze comics that incorporate violent aesthetics. Junji Ito's "Tomie" serves as a case study, with the narratives and symbolic meanings of violent aesthetic films "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer" and "Parasite" integrated into the research. The acquired knowledge and techniques are then incorporated into the comic work of "The World After the Mask Breaks," transforming the story's content and graphic expressions. Finally, by analyzing the story and expressive techniques of "The World After the Mask Breaks," this study aims to provide a valuable reference for those interested in understanding and creating works within violent aesthetics.
