摘要 癌症病患接受放射治療時,當需要使用生理監測器監測病人生理狀況時,監測器訊號透過攝影監視系統呈現,常因螢幕背光的問題而看不清楚生理監測器的螢幕,是有其危險。本研究藉由感測技術與無線通訊技術的結合,利用Zigbee無線生理監測器做監測。 本文的研究使用Zigbee無線通訊技術開發的無線感測生理監測器建置在放射治療室。無線感測網路的末端裝置是SpO2感測器,具有Zigbee 射頻晶片的微型控制元件能夠選擇與SpO2感測器之間的路由器連接。路由器接收到裝置傳送來的資料,立刻傳送資料到個人區域網路協調器,個人區域網路協調器透過非同步傳輸器(RS232)連接個人電腦並將資料傳送到個人電腦。SpO2感測器經由Zigbee 無線感測網路傳輸,可在放射治療控制室個人電腦顯示病人的血氧含量訊號、心跳速率、脈搏脈衝。如此病人在治療室內發生休克現象時得以即時搶救,保障病人安全。 病人安全是目前醫療政策極為重視的目標,無線生理感測器的應用對於放射治療室、負壓隔離病房等不易使用生理監測器的空間更能保障病人安全。
Abstract Critically ill and postoperative cancer patients who are receiving radiotherapy may need to use the physiological monitors to observe their physiological conditions in real time. Once the monitored signal was watched through the monitor system in the console room, the background light of physiological monitors can lower the image contrast of display, which can be a practical problem for clinical staffs. In this study, we combined wireless communication and sensing technology by using the Zigbee wireless physiology monitor to improve the influence of background light coming from monitor screen. The developed wireless sensor physiological monitor was installed in a treatment room for radiotherapy. The terminal device of the wireless sensor is a SpO2 transducer, which adopts the Zigbee chip micro-controller unit to transmit transducer’s signal to a router. Then, the router pass immediately the data of SpO2 transducer to PC (personal computer) through a connection of PAN (Personal Area Network) and a non-synchronized transmitter interface (RS232) between PC and SpO2 transducer. Our results demonstrate that the use of Zigbee wireless network can clearly display patient's physiological data such as heart rate and pulse in console room. This device helps when the patient has shock in the treatment room can be rescued immediately. This action can substantially ensure patients’ safety in real time. The patient safety takes an extremely important emphasis in the present medical policy. The application of wireless physiological sensory element is able to help patients situated in radiotherapy room or the negative pressure isolation ward, and so on where are not easy to use the physiological monitors to monitor their vital sign and reinforce patient’s safety.
