In recent years, medical technologies evolve day by day. It is easy to upgrade the quality of life with the help of health insurance system, and the average life expectancy of people increases every year; but the people fertility in Taiwan has declined each year so to gradually form aging society phenomenon; at home the concept of a nursing community has not yet matured for the elderly, and people preferred aging in home or in place so that the majority do not want to live in a nursing center or nursing home; Because of work requirements, the majority of their children cannot live with their parents so to form the phenomena of the many healthy elderly either staying alone or a couple staying together; therefore the home care for the aging people become increasingly important. In this study, based on the architecture of high frequency (HF) and ultrahigh frequency (UHF) RFID (Radio frequency identification technology), HF and UHF are coexisted and used to implement home care system. By using active UHF to record the elderly daily activities, it can record long-term, and non-detectable activities without disturbing resident lifestyle. By recording the visiting records of home-care staff with passive HF, and when the resident behaves anomaly, it will remind residents through audible sound to improve the efficiency of Tag. The home care system not only let the children of non-living together, relatives, and friends query the home activity status of the elderly residents t, the visiting status of home care staff or medical personnel through the Internet. When the living state of the occupants happen abnormally, the system will take the initiative to send SMS or E-Mail to inform caregivers, medical personnel or emergency contacts so to provide the necessary measures to reduce harm in the shortest possible time and to provide the elderly residents with improving home care.
