原發性肝癌的中醫治療
Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of Primary Liver Cancer
摘要
原發性肝癌係原發於肝細胞、或肝內膽管上皮細胞的惡性腫瘤，是我國常見惡性腫瘤之一，死亡率很高，僅次於胃、食道癌而居第三位。原發性肝癌的發病與B型肝炎病毒的感染密切相關，與C型肝炎病毒感染亦有一定的關係，與黃麹毒素、飲水污染也有明顯的關係。原發性肝癌的治療，西醫仍以手術切除為首選，早期切除是提高生存率的關鍵。 原發性肝癌屬中醫「癥瘕積聚」、「肝積」、「脇痛」、「臌胀」、「肥氣」、「堅癥」、「肝著」、「癖黃」、等範疇。中醫藥治療本病有一定療效，可適用於各型、各期的肝癌患者，一般認為，對不適合于術切除和放療的患者，常可作為首選方法，亦有報導中醫藥治療優於放療的療效。

Primary liver cancer is the fatal malignancy occurred on liver cel1s or human intrahepatic biliary duct cel1s (hIBDC). With high mortality, primary liver cancer is the third most common fatal malignancy after gastric cancer and esophageal cancer in Taiwan. The occurrence of the primary liver cancer is closely related with hepatitis B virus infection. Besides, there is also some kind of connection to hepatitis C virus infection, aflatoxin and drinking water pollution. Surgical operation is the first choice of therapy in western medicine. Early surgical excision is the main factor for long-term survival of the patients with primary liver cancer. In the traditional Chinese medicine, primary liver cancer is classified into the scope of ”abdominal masses”, ”accumulation of liver”, hypochondriac pain”, ”distention of abdomen”, ”lump at the left hypochondrium”, ”solid accumulation”, jaundice”, liver affection”. It is showed that traditional Chinese medicine had certain curative effect for the patients with liver cancers. For the patients who are poor surgical/radiation candidates, the traditional Chinese medicine is the first choice of therapy. Some reports showed that the traditional Chinese medicine has better curative effect than radiation therapy.
