The 72-year-old female patient suffered from right facial nerve palsy due to a suspected injury to the seventh cranial nerves after an acoustic neuroma operation ten years ago, and even experienced severe dryness of eyes, right nostril and mouth. Diagnosis of Sjogren's syndrome (Sicca syndrome) was given, but the symptoms improvement was scant by taking medication therapy, and the problem of dry eyes persist while artificial tears usage.
