運用中醫治療乳癌化療放療及賀爾蒙療法副作用之病例報告

A Breast Cancer Case Report: Using Traditional Chinese Medicine to Alleviate Side Effects of Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and Hormone Therapy

摘要

本例為一位乳癌第一期的47歲女性患者，進行右側局部乳房切除手術後，接受化、放療並使用抗賀爾蒙藥物，治療後患者持續有四肢感覺異常、麻木、腫脹，潮熱、盜汗、口乾；以及腸胃不適等症狀。經辨證認為此患者屬肝鬱脾虛、肝腎陰虛、氣虛血瘀之證型，故採用疏肝健脾、清熱滋陰、活血去瘀之治療方式，並搭配針灸治療。治療後，患者四肢麻木、腫脹、潮熱、盜汗、口乾、腸胃不適之症狀皆有減緩。

This is a case of a 47-year-old female patient diagnosed with stage I breast cancer. Following a right partial mastectomy, she underwent chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and hormone therapy. After treatments, the patient experienced persistent numbness, and swelling in all four limbs, along with symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, dry mouth, and gastrointestinal discomfort. After syndrome differentiation, the patient was diagnosed with liver stagnation and spleen deficiency, liver-kidney yin deficiency, Qi deficiency and blood stasis. Accordingly, treatment aimed at soothing liver and strengthening spleen, nourishing yin and clearing heat, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, by combining with Chinese medicine and acupuncture treatment. Following treatments, the patient experienced improvement in symptoms, such as numbness, swelling in all four limbs, hot flushes, night sweats, dry mouth, and gastrointestinal discomfort.
