This is a case of a 47-year-old female patient diagnosed with stage I breast cancer. Following a right partial mastectomy, she underwent chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and hormone therapy. After treatments, the patient experienced persistent numbness, and swelling in all four limbs, along with symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, dry mouth, and gastrointestinal discomfort. After syndrome differentiation, the patient was diagnosed with liver stagnation and spleen deficiency, liver-kidney yin deficiency, Qi deficiency and blood stasis. Accordingly, treatment aimed at soothing liver and strengthening spleen, nourishing yin and clearing heat, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, by combining with Chinese medicine and acupuncture treatment. Following treatments, the patient experienced improvement in symptoms, such as numbness, swelling in all four limbs, hot flushes, night sweats, dry mouth, and gastrointestinal discomfort.
