天地直觀之堪輿思想考究

摘要


堪輿觀念之形成早在秦漢以前已經孕育相當長久一段時間,本研究嘗試找出尚未有堪輿文獻之前,其源頭思想從何而來,透過商周及秦漢以前之古代典籍,由先民之天地直觀,探討堪輿思想之形成。 天地萬物皆由同一個來源,是古先民最直接而單純的想法,每天看著“天”的變化掌握時間與季節,是從事農、牧生活存亡的關鍵,在選擇環境時也模仿天地的直觀形象,而逐漸發展成有系統的堪輿之學;並且從直觀形象當中加入了人文思想的操作,建構出萬物生成的模式,應用在生活環境的操作裡,堪輿系統即由此逐漸發展出來。從古墓上印證所得,強烈的天地感應圖像在墓穴當中呈現;在建築環境的選址觀念以及建築本身的形制當中,也充滿著人天感應、天圓地方的堪輿原始“模式”。

Before the Han dynasty (206 B.C.-220 A.D.) the idea of geomancy had been gestating for a long period. And the first book of geomancy in China ”The scripture of inter” was published in the later period of Jin dynasty (317A.D. - 420A.D.). My study tries to research into the origin of geomantic cerebration before the Han dynasty. The ancient Chinese were under the impression that whole creation was originated from the same source; heaven and earth were inseparable. They modeled the image of heaven and earth when choosing their surroundings. This ocular image of ”heaven round and earth square” developed gradually into geomantic systems. We could feel strongly that picture of heaven and earth image present to the tumulus. It was also to the selection of architecture placement and building appearance. It symbolized the harmony between man and nature (heaven and earth), and became geomantic ”mode”.
