This topic discuss architecture of Logical Volume Manager (LVM), and applicative strategy of LVM at LINUX installation and management. We compare its structure with Windows's Dynamic Disk. This paper introduces basic structure of LVM, and commands are related to LVM. Our contents are based on Red hat and SUSE LINUX distributions. We suggest an practical strategy based on LVM at Linux installation and management. This strategy lets LINUX system more available at administration and maintenance. We also compare LVM version 2 with LVM version 1, and the difference with dynamic disk.
