摘要

從1987年9月至1992年9月馬偕紀念醫院對先天性心臟病人需作開心手術作五年的回顧性研究，有102例正中胸骨切開術，其中有兩例發生感染約佔百分之一點九六，術後的心肺復甦是其主因，而以金黃色葡萄球菌為主要菌種，我們報告這兩例及其治療方法，同時討論目前文獻上常使用的治療方法。

This is a five year(Sept.1987 to Sept.1992)retrospective study on pediatric patients with congenital heart disease needing open heart surgery. Standard Median sternotomy was performed on 102 cases. Two cases had sternal wound infection with an overall incidence rate of 1.96%. The predisposing factor was the occurrence of postoperative cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Staphylococcus aureus was the most common bacterial infection seen. These two cases presented different spectrum of clinical complications and modes of treatment applied. Review of literatures on current modes of treatment will be discussed.
