摘要


肥胖是身體累積一定程度的脂肪,而造成健康不利影響的一種醫學疾病,它可能導致壽命減短以及增加身體健康的種種問題。肥胖可能增加罹患各種疾病的機率,特別是心血管疾病、睡眠呼吸終止、癌症以及關節炎。為了擺脫肥胖,現代人嘗試的了各種方法,卻不一定能夠達到目的。其中一個關鍵原因,便是基礎代謝率(BMR)。本文即介紹基礎代謝率的定義、影響基礎代謝率的因素、計算基礎代謝率的公式以及維持高基礎代謝率的方法,希望對於想要控制體重,維持良好體態與健康的人,建立正確觀念認知有所助益。

Obesity is a medical disease in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have an adverse effect on health, leading to reduced life expectancy and increased health problems. It may increase the likelihood of various diseases, particularly heart disease, breathing difficulties during sleep, cancer, and osteoarthritis. In order to get rid of obesity, modern people have been trying numerous ways but probably just couldn't accomplish their wishes. BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is a critical element to explain the reason. This article tried to introduce the definition of BMR, the factors that influence BMR, BMR formula and the ways to keep higher energy consumption rate. It could be an assistance to create accurate concepts for those who want to control body weight and to keep appropriate body figure.
