乾癬(Psoriasis Vulgaris)的中醫治療及預防

摘要

根據統計，在台灣乾癬的罹病率約是2%左右，多見於成人，小孩子較少發生，醫學界認為乾癬可能與遺傳有關，另外如季節交替、身心壓力都可能是誘發乾癬的重要原因。乾癬是一種自體免疫疾病，由於患者的T淋巴細胞過度活躍，異常地攻擊自身皮膚，其中約有5~10%的患者屬於中、重度病情，一般以現代醫學來講要根治不易。
由於目前西醫就此病的療效有限，故患者不妨利用傳統的中醫辨證療法來改善體質，藉以調整錯誤的免疫功能，減少西藥的毒、副作用，以希望中西醫學的結合能對乾癬之治療更有所助益。

According to the statistics, the morbidity rate of psoriasis vulgaris in Taiwan is about --%. The incidence rate of adults is higher than kids. In the opinion of the medical men, psoriasis vulgaris may be related to heredity as well as seasonal changes and physical-psychological pressure. Psoriasis vulgaris is a kind of autoimmune diseases. The patient's T lymphocytes are over-activated and attack skin tissue. The middle or severe psoriasis vulgaris patients take about 5~10%. According the opinion of modern medical science, it's not easy to radically cure psoriasis vulgaris.
Currently western medical therapies for psoriasis vulgaris show limited efficacy. It may he a better way to use TCM syndrome differentiation for improving patients' physiology in order to correct their unregulated immunological functions and reduce the toxicity and side effects of western medicine. We hope that the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine can be helpful to the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris.
