Bilateral Lateral Window Sinus Lifting and Implant Rehabilitation-Case Report

摘要

患者雙側後牙缺損時，為了患者咬合效率及舒適性，植牙重建是最佳的選項，但若患者雙側後牙牙脊嚴重萎縮時，就不適合立即以植牙復之。本病例是一位上顎後牙皆缺損的患者，但因長年上顎鼻竇的擴張，齒槽脊萎縮相當厲害，為了改善其咬合效率，建議患者先進行雙側開窗式鼻竇增高術，九個月等待骨生成後，再進行植牙重建，往後一年的追蹤，牙周及植體周圍的骨頭大致都維持在穩定的狀態。(J. Family Dent. 6(2): 49-56, 2011)

For patients' comfort and occlusal efficiency, dental implant rehabilitation might be one of the best options in patients suffering from missing of bilateral posterior teeth. When the maxillary ridge is severe atrophic, it isn't suitable to restore it by dental implantation combined with bone augmentation simultaneously. This case presents a patient whose upper bilateral posterior edentulous ridge is severe atrophic due to maxillary sinus expansion. We suggested this patient perform lateral widow sinus lifting surgery, and then dental implantation nine months later. (J. Family Dent. 6(2): 49-56, 2011)
