鼻竇增高術術後併發上顎竇感染－病例報告
Maxillary Sinusitis after Sinus Augmentation via a Lateral Window Approach - A Case Report
摘要
上顎竇增高術可有效增加齒槽骨高度，被廣泛運用於上顎後牙區有植牙需求但骨量高度不足的情況。此術式成功率高，但仍有產生併發症的風險。本篇病例報告係以側窗方式執行上顎竇增高術，術後引發鼻竇炎，藉由抗生素治療與功能性鼻竇內視鏡手術（Functional endonasal sinus surgery, FESS）恢復鼻竇健康，最後成功植入植體並重建完成。鼻竇增高術術後引發鼻竇炎常與原先存在的鼻竇病變或解剖異常相關，顯示術前評估的重要性，文中將會一併討論鼻竇感染的預防與治療策略。

Maxillary sinus augmentation is widely used to gain bone height for implant placement in an atrophic posterior maxilla. Despite the high success rate, complications do occur. This case report presents maxillary sinusitis after sinus augmentation via a lateral window approach. Functional endonasal sinus surgery (FESS) combined with antibiotic therapy improved the symptoms and recovered the sinus function. Maxillary sinusitis after sinus augmentation procedure are often related to the presence of maxillary pathoses and anatomical variations. Preoperative evaluation plays an important role in reducing the incidence of complications. Clinical recommendations of prevention and treatment of maxillary sinusitis after sinus augmentation procedure were discussed.
