Invisalign clear braces could be used successfully in a variety of complex cases, including deep and open bites, moderated-to-severe overjet, upper premolar extractions, skeletal Angle's Class II and III cases, and combined with surgical corrections. The biomechanics of tooth movement of the Invisalign system involved with the greater surface area of the entire crown is tightly held with no space between the appliance and the tooth. The activation in the appliance can then move the tooth bodily because the tooth is rigid body, and at least two points of contact are in play. However, for the appliance to fit tightly to more teeth in the desired direction, it may be necessary to add attachments. The force involved for the 0.02 mm activations are most likely of a light, continuousl nature due to the elastic properties of the appliance and the small magnitude of individual activation at each stage. The limitations of the Invisalign system associated with some the following factors. Severely and ectopically positioned dentition, non-compliance, insufficient wearing or missing of the appliances, slight posterior tooth intrusion, camouflage treatment for malocclusion with significant skeletal displasia might be the non-surgical treatement options. Aligners offer several advantages over traditional fixed appiances including excellent esthetic during treatment, comfort of wear, ease of use, ease of clean, less EARR, less decalcification, less gingivitis and periodontitis, and others.
