摘要

上顎牙弓橫向（transverse plane）生展是三個維度裡面最先停止發育的。本文獻回顧上顎牙弓橫向生長不足的原因、發生率、成因、診斷與治療方法；並針對不同的發育時期，適合的不同治療方法進行比較，以及與矯正治療相關的注意事項做深入討論。
