無鬼影之背投影顯示螢幕介紹

An Introduction to Rear Projection Screens without Ghost Image Artifacts

摘要


背投影顯示螢幕是決定背投影顯示系統最終成像畫質的關鍵元件。兩片式的螢幕已被廣泛應用於背投影顯示系統,這類兩片式螢幕其中之一是單純使用散光板(diffusive plate)或使用柱狀透鏡陣列(lenticular lens)配合散光板,其功能主要是用以調制視角(view angle)與增益(gain);另外一片則是採用Fresnel lens作爲field lens,其功能主要是使投影光束收斂,以控制投影畫面的均勻度(uniformity)。 但是,Fresnel lens畢竞不是理想的透鏡,因而會造成投影影像的缺陷,這些缺陷被稱爲鬼影。本文針對我們在研發此螢幕中,所遇到的“鬼影”雜訊問題提出我們解決的方法。

Rear projection screens composed of two pieces of elements have been widely used for rear projection systems. The first element is a lenticular and/or diffuser plate used for controlling the viewing angle and gain. The second element is a Fresnel lens used as a field lens to collimate the projected light and hence correctiong the uniformity of the projected image. However, Fresnel lens is not a perfect lens and can induce several artifacts for the projected image. This is so called ghost image. In this paper, we would like to introducc our method to solve the ghost image artifacts.
