A "Net Zero" transportation system may be key to cope with drastic climate change and global warming problems. That is why it is important that we take quick action to roll out supportive public policies to help accelerate the deployment of electric vehicles. However, the huge paradigm shift in transport sector also poses great challenges to governments across the world. This article studies EV policies in Canada, United Kingdom, United States and the European Union to leverage the legislative experiences of advanced countries and use them as a lighthouse for our future direction.
