多模穴模具之幾何平衡流道設計對成品密度之影響

摘要


本文探討的產品是交換式電源供應器的開關殼體扣件,該產品為開關元件常被施力使用,其扣件結構需有良好強度,為提升產能,應用多模穴的射出成型模具生產;本文目的在探討多模穴模具藉由流道配置的結構,使塑料流動能夠平衡的充填到每個模穴內。研究主要使用Pro/ENGINEER 及Moldex3D軟體進行產品建模與模流分析,探討多模穴模具流道設計對產品品質的影響,特別是產品結構薄弱處之密度差異,經由分析常用之H 型與X 型流道設計型式,結果獲得兩板模H型流道和三板模H型流道有較佳的平衡性,另考量產品脫模去除餘料之自動化,因此選擇三板模H 型為開模量產的模具設計並成功完成實驗產品。

The switch housing, produced by applied multi-cavity mold to increase production quantity, has to possess enough strength to bear high-frequency operation force. The aim of this paper investigates the effect of 2-plate / 3-plate mold with H type / X type runner design on product strength. Pro/ENGINEER is used to construct the model of product, while Moldex3D is to the analysis software of mold flow. The density of the thinnest part of product is an index of judging how well the runner design works. After analyzing, a 3-plate mold with H type runner mold succeeds in producing this product.
