With the rapid development of immersive virtual reality (VR) sports technology, the use of wearable devices in the sports and fitness field is becoming increasingly popular. These devices can simulate real-life exercise experiences for fitness purposes. The National Health Service (NHS) actively promotes daily exercise to enhance fitness and longevity, and VR exercise is not only fun, but also immersive and adds value to a user's life by facilitating a mind-flow experience. However, few studies have examined the sense of presence and cardio fluid experience in the context of VR user acceptance. Therefore, this study focuses on the interrelationships among sense of presence, mindfulness, perceptual usefulness, and continuance of the ski simulator users' willingness to use the simulator. The study was quantitative in nature, with data collected through questionnaires and analyzed using LISREL 8.52 software. The results of this study showed that the combination of game elements and a ski simulator can enhance users' sense of presence, increase the mind-flow experience, and improve the practicality and functionality of VR. This not only increased users' familiarity and ease of use of the system, but also increased their willingness to continue using the system and the duration of exercise. In addition, it was found that mind-flow experience and perceptual usefulness played a mediating role in the effect of sense of presence on the willingness to continue using the system. Overall, the results of this study highlight the potential of VR technology in promoting health and quality of life, and provide new ideas and directions for increasing people's willingness to engage in regular and autonomous exercise.
