Research on Family Care Stress in the Sandwich Generation

摘要

本研究主要目的在探究三明治世代的家人照顧壓力的情形。透過分層立意取樣，以台南縣市623位育有18歲以下未成年子女與扶養年邁父母的三明治世代做爲研究對象，進行問卷調查，問卷包含「三明治世代基本資料」、「社會支持量表」與「家人照顧壓力量表」。問卷資料透過SPSS軟體以平均數、標準差、t-test與單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關、逐步多元迴歸分析等統計方法，進行統計分析。本研究結果發現：
1.三明治世代的照顧壓力以女性較高。
2.部分不同背景變項分別對家庭照顧壓力有顯著差異。
3.社會支持滿意度、所獲得社會支持量、社經階層的中低社經、性別、父母的健康狀況、家庭月收入等可有效地預測家人照顧壓力感受。

This study tried to explore the family care stress in the sandwich generation. In Tainan area, 623 subjects who took care of children under 18 years old and parents at the same time participated through stratified sampling. Three findings were addressed.
1. Females showed higher family care stress than males;
2. Partial demographics data demonstrated significant differences on family care stress;
3. The sandwich generations' background variables, such as social support, social socioeconomic status, gender, parents' health condition and family income, could be the predicators of family care stress.
